Ask Dr. Science

Ask Dr. Science

This column is devoted to asking everyday science questions to Dr. Science.  I'm not THE Dr. Science, I'm actually his cousin, Dr. Science T. Fenworthy.  I actually have more degrees than THE Dr. Science, but I don't have his publicity agent.  Anyway, I'll be answering questions sent in to me, or left here in the comments section.

Welcome,

Dr. Science

Hubble Real? I don't think so

Hubble Real? I don't think so

So, a fellow didn't agree with me about the fake moon shots from NASA, and asked if the Hubble were real.

So let me get this straight. No moon landing, no Mars landing. Is the Hubble space telescope fake as well?

My answer, of course it's FAKE!  All you have to do is take a look at the photo of it to know that.  First of all, who is taking the shot?  Clearly no one could be just floating around in space.  Secondly, look at the thing it looks like one of my son's science fair projects done with a bunch of tin cans - I could have done a better job.

And then just take a look at some of the photos that supposedly came from it - I mean if the earth were created 4,000 years ago, none of those stars and planets could possibly be that far away, or look that good for that matter - I mean earth was created in God's image or something so it's got to be the best looking thing in space, and I'll hand it to whoever the artists were those other things do look better than the earth.

Another Nasa Spoof

Another Nasa Spoof

Dear Doctor Science,

I just saw the new photos from the mars lander and I think it's great.  Despite all the nay sayers, we have actually gone to mars and are discovering new revelations about our solar system.  Don't you think this is great?

Jazzed in Mexico

Dear Jazzed in Mexico,

This shot is clearly another fake photo from NASA. They've been doing these photoshop fakes ever since the original Moon Lander fiasco.  After I posted the so called 'original', supposedly taken from the Mars Lander a couple of days ago, a reader of this column, and apparently a computer expert, managed to get into the NASA archives and get the true original before it had been doctored by a photoshop expert.  It clearly shows how the shot was made.

Many thanks to 'photo guy' for the shot.

Dr. Science.
